Studies have shown that vs. traditional graphics and text signage, Dyvert reduces contamination by, on average, 50%. Recycling diversion also increases when users know what to recycle.
Recycling isn’t just bottles and cans anymore. With new materials, updated recycling “rules”, and newfangled compostable cups/plates/cutlery, it’s tricky for users to know everything
Yes! Dyvert display case messaging pairs easily with clear & concise wall or bin mounted printed signage.
No. What is recyclable or compostable varies by venue, disposal facility, geographic region, and commodity market conditions. Dyvert provides the tools that let you customize messaging to meet your exact needs.
Yes! The Dyvert display system can be used with most waste collection systems, including single/dual/multi stream recycling and/or compost/organics/food collection. Contact us if you’re unsure how it’d work with your system.
The Vue is designed to fit on Rubbermaid Slim Jim™, Busch Waste Watcher™, and all slim style bins.
The Reveal is designed to fit on nearly every round bin, including Rubbermaid Brute™ (and similar) cans in 20, 32 & 44 gallon sizes.
The Vista is an all-in-one bin & messaging solution, so can replace or be put next to an existing bin.

No! Dyvert can increase recycling and reduce contamination, but an effective recycling program still requires planning and buy-in from users, housekeeping, operations, your hauler, etc.
You select and place them there. You know your space & materials better than anyone else and are best equipped to choose the optimal items.
From your own discards and/or stocks of single-use items (cups, plates, cutlery, etc.). The best example items are the ones actually from your space! See the Accessories page for replica food items.
Yes, mostly. Use new items from your stock of single-use wares (cups, plates, cutlery, clamshells, etc.), rinse bottles, and wipe off food-soiled containers. Items don’t need to be spotless, but clean items display better and last longer.
Use replica food. We stock many lifelike food options - sandwiches, fruit, baked goods - that are durable and easily convey your messaging to users. Check out the Accessories page for more info.
1-2 minutes per bin + the time getting items. It’s the same time or less time than creating (especially if it involves individual item photography) and affixing custom signage.
Yes! All Dyvert displays/dioramas can be snapped/secured closed and reopened later when you need to access or update the materials.
Yes! Dyvert products are made to be updated by swapping out the old example materials for the new ones. It's usually easier than making new custom signage every time materials change.
No. When the bin is accessed to remove the liner bag or empty the waste receptacle, the display items will stay contained.
In the Vista, the display case/diorama is built into the solid structure of the bin, so it is totally unaffected when the interior bin is emptied by housekeeping staff.
The Vue and Reveal are add-on display lids that are removed to access the underneath bin, but the two halves remain securely snapped together, no matter how much they are jostled.
Yes. The Vue and Reveal display lids utilize snug snap fits between their two halves, but can be further secured using plastic or metal ties through the rim edge holes. The entire device also can be fastened to the base can using the same holes and a cable.
On the Vista, the display case is secured via built-in removable pins or screws.
You could do that, but it will take longer (find the images/photograph the materials, print, cut them out) and be less effective than using actual items.
Yes and no.
The Reveal is great for events and temporary outdoor applications, but we do not recommend them for permanent outdoor use. Over time, sunlight and moisture will harm the example display materials, so items would need to be replaced frequently. Also, permanent outdoor locations can be subject to scavenging, vandalism, or theft.
Only Vista products in select configurations are recommended for permanent outdoor use.
That is the plan.
While the Vue is intended for slim rectangular bins (like Slim Jims) and the Reveal is intended for round bins (like Brutes), we continually hear from customers about bin sizes they'd like to see for Dyvert products. Talk to us about your existing bin setup.

Like with all plastics, care should be taken when cleaning. Abrasive or harsh cleaners should not be used.
Ammonia, alcohol, alkaline, window cleaners, or multi-surface cleaners should NOT be used on transparent portions of Dyvert products. We recommend soapy water with a clean cloth or sponge.
A standard plastic cleaner like Brillianize, Novus #1, Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze #10, PlastX, or Plexus, along with a clean microfiber cloth cleans and polishes the plastic surface.
Yes, all Dyvert products incorporate recycled content, including the Vista that uses 97% recycled HDPE plastic lumber (the other 3% is UV stabilizers).
Vue and Reveal use up to 50% recycled content in their components. Dyvert takes great care to utilize recycled content in each product, while ensuring maximum performance and durability.
Yes, nearly all Dyvert products are recyclable via the building material (construction and demolition) waste stream.
The Vista can be disassembled into its component HDPE and steel parts and recycled via the Construction & Demolition (C&D) stream.
Reveal and Vue lids and bases can be shipped back to Dyvert for full recycling.
